My name is Salwa Zahra. I chose to become an Early Childhood Educator; a career that I believe will make a difference in someone’s life.

I love reading, running, crafting, dancing, watching documentaries and movies and playing with kids. I am a mother of two children, a girl and a boy.

It amuses and amazes me to see the potential and awareness of children and how they implement it; my goal is to spread the image of the child as creative, artistic, sensitive and talented individuals. The Early Childhood Education program has offered many countless personal and professional gains. It has provided me with the right insights and tools to develop and improve my skills, knowledge and views of different learning styles, characteristics and preferences of other individuals.

At the end, I am very thankful to have the opportunity to be in this field and I am confident that I will be able to use this gained knowledge to continue and develop myself towards becoming an effective and productive member of the ECE community; and most importantly is making a difference in someone’s life.
